CAAS Accreditation Fees


The following fee schedule outlines costs associated with CAAS accreditation, including preparation materials, application submission, reviewer fees, and policies related to postponement or cancellation. All fees are shown in U.S. dollars.

Preparing for CAAS Accreditation

Application Submission Fee

Application fees are based on the agency’s annual transport volume. This 5 Tier fee structure went into effect January 1, 2026.

Tier 2: 5,000 – 19,999 $8,250
Tier 3: 20,000 – 49,999 $11,000
Tier 4: 50,000 – 99,999 $12,000
Tier 5: 100,000+ $13,000

Reviewer Fees and Expenses

Minimum deposits for anticipated reviewer site visit fees are as follows:

  • Tiers 1–2: Minimum deposit is $6,000.
  • Tiers 3–5: Minimum deposit is $8,000.

Postponement, Cancellation, and Refund Policy

CAAS schedules on-site reviews within six months of application submission. Agencies may postpone or withdraw from the process at any time prior to the start of the on-site review, subject to the following policies.

Cancellation (Withdrawal from the Accreditation Process)

An applicant may withdraw at any stage; however, because significant work precedes the on-site review, the following refund schedule applies:

Before completion of off-site review 80% of application fee, minus any reviewer expenses incurred
After completion of off-site review 20% of application fee, minus any reviewer expenses incurred
After completion of on-site review 10% of application fee, minus any reviewer expenses incurred
After on-site review and prior to Panel review No refund

Once rescheduled, an on-site visit may not be postponed a second time. If the agency chooses to withdraw after rescheduling, standard cancellation refund policies apply.
